At Good Companions, we offer a paid non-medical fall assist service designed to help reduce pressure on emergency services, particularly when it comes to non-injury related fall call outs.

We understand how stressful these situations can be for individuals and families. Our aim is to provide a calm, safe, and supportive response where appropriate, helping people from a fallen position into a sitting position using specialist Mangar Elk lifting equipment.

To support this service, Good Companions has invested in specialist lifting equipment and comprehensive training for our team. The service is manned 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by three fully trained managers who are able to assess situations and provide assistance where appropriate.

The service is available within a 15-mile radius of Spalding and is charged at £60 per call out. It is designed to complement existing emergency pathways while helping to reduce unnecessary strain on ambulance services, always prioritising dignity, safety, and reassurance.
