Good Companions Spalding Ltd is an independent homecare provider dedicated to delivering flexible, high-quality companionship, care, and support to adults aged 18+  across South Holland and the surrounding Lincolnshire area.

Our mission is to enhance the lives of those who require care, empowering them to remain safely and comfortably in their own homes for as long as they wish. We provide compassionate, person-centred support with all aspects of daily living — from personal care and medication assistance to meal preparation, companionship, and community engagement.

We also offer families peace of mind and well-deserved respite from their caring responsibilities, ensuring their loved ones receive the same level of kindness and respect they would provide themselves.

Good Companions operates 365 days a year, tailoring every care plan around the individual’s needs, goals, and preferences. Each client begins with a holistic assessment that considers physical health, mental well-being, lifestyle, and home environment — ensuring the care we deliver is as unique as the person receiving it.

In addition to direct care, we’re proud to guide and connect clients and families to trusted local services that can offer expert advice on legal, financial, and practical matters — including home adaptations, mobility equipment, and community support — to help them live independently and confidently at home.

The company aims to generate a portfolio of staff available including photographs, qualifications and a short précis of their experience, hobbies and interests to match up personnel with clients from the beginning of the service, including in some cases (24 hour support) where clients can be involved in the interview process and allow teams to be established to care and support individuals, thereby promoting consistency in service. The company will be offering free advice and guidance for people with long term conditions, including dementia and telecare equipment to aid carers who support people with dementia in their own home.

Good Companions Spalding Ltd will ensure all the staff will be fit for purpose by processing each applicant through the Enhanced DBS process and obtaining relevant references from previous employers and/or others.
